Why do your paddles cost more than other paddle makers paddles?
Most other manufacturers don't use exotic woods, domestic woods are much less expensive. Most of the woods I use are harder than
domestic so they not only take more time to work with, they also take more sanding and other supplies associated with creating them. I
am the only paddle creator that gives paddles a slight pillow shape, I also round every edge and corner to make sure there are no sharp
edges or angles to cause skin damage. I also sand down to a 4000 grit sponge, most paddles are sanded to a 220 grit and laqured.
This kind of refinement takes hours to do.
Where do your woods come from?
I quite literally order my stock from all over the world. I spend hours upon hours looking for pieces that are well figured and even unusual
for their species. It is important to me to create something special every time I pick up a piece of wood.
Who buys your paddles? Where is the furthest you have sold paddles to?
My customers are really from every income level and from every field. Many spanking video companies purchase my paddles for their
videos because they can record longer and get more done due to the fact that my paddles tend to cause much less damage than paddles
with hard angles. I sell all over the world. I've sold many in England, Australia, some in Africa, the Middle East and Japan. I don't think I've
shipped any to South America yet, but I could be mistaken
Are you spanked with your own paddles?
Yes, I have been, countless times. I don't play with paddles from other manufacturers because I don't like the welts and bruising they can
create. I also test out every new shape and every new wood. If I don't like them, they don't make it to the site. They will get tossed in a bin as
scrap wood
Why don't you put holes in your paddles?
It is a common belief that holes in paddles create less wind resistance. I believe that paddles are not swung hard enough for wind
resistance to become a major factor. Paddles with holes create more skin damage than paddles without. When the paddle strikes the skin,
part of the skin is compressed by the paddle while the skin where the holes are expands up into the holes, creating such things as welts,
blisters, chafing and other issues. All wooden implements can cause damage, paddles with holes and hard angles just cause more
damage faster.
